the Reshh website and web application (https://reshh.com and subdomains), and
the official Reshh browser extension (the “Extension”).

By using Reshh or the Extension, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. What Reshh Does

Reshh helps you capture and organize inspiration from around the web into visual collections for research and creative work. You can:

Save images and screenshots from websites.
Add titles, descriptions, and notes.
Organize items into collections and posts.
Access and manage this content from your Reshh account.

The Extension is one input channel into Reshh. Everything saved through the Extension ends up as content in your Reshh account.

2. Information We Collect

We group the information we collect into a few categories.

2.1 Account Information

When you create or use a Reshh account, we may collect:

Email address and basic profile details you choose to provide.
Authentication data (hashed passwords or tokens, depending on how you sign in).
Settings and preferences (e.g., default collection, UI preferences).

2.2 Content You Save

When you use Reshh (web or Extension), we store the content you choose to save:

Images or screenshots.
Titles, descriptions, tags, and notes.
Source URLs and basic page context (e.g., page title, domain).
Collection and organizational metadata (e.g., which collection an item belongs to).

If you include personal or sensitive information in your content, that is your choice; we store it as part of your Reshh content.

2.3 Usage Information

We collect limited usage information about how you interact with Reshh, such as:

Log data: IP address (short-term), browser type, device info, timestamps of requests, and basic diagnostic logs.
Feature usage: pages and features you access within Reshh (e.g., creating collections, saving posts, using search).
Error and performance data: crash reports, failed requests, and similar diagnostics.

We do not maintain a separate “full browsing history” of websites you visit outside of what is necessary to support the content you explicitly save.

3. Information Collected via the Browser Extension

The Extension has a single purpose: capture content from the page you’re viewing and save it to Reshh.

When you interact with the Extension (e.g., “Save to Reshh” or “Save Screenshot”), it may access:

Image URLs or screenshot pixels.
Image alt text, when available.
The current page URL.
Basic page metadata (page title, meta / Open Graph description).

The Extension only accesses this data:

On the current tab, and
When you explicitly trigger an action in the Extension (e.g., choosing a context-menu item or using the capture flow).

The Extension does not:

Continuously track your browsing history across sites.
Read data from other tabs/windows that you do not interact with through the Extension.
Log keystrokes, mouse movements, or low-level user activity.

Technical details of the Extension’s data handling are consistent with, and a subset of, this overall Privacy Policy.

4. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Provide and operate Reshh
- Create and manage your account.
- Save, render, and organize your posts and collections.
- Enable capture flows from the web app and Extension.
Maintain and improve the service
- Monitor performance, reliability, and usage patterns.
- Debug issues, prevent abuse, and maintain security.
- Develop new features and UX improvements.
Communicate with you

Reshh is not directed to children under 13 (or other age as defined by applicable law), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it.
